Alex, the main character, is the character I like the most and probably it is the only in the novel who can be analyzed, because of all his changes through the book. At the beginning, Alex’s violent side is depicted through the things he does with his friends like robbing the corner store or raping and beating the writer and his wife. What I like about this character is the way he describes his actions and his feelings every moment when he committed a crime or something that shock me. In some way this character make me felt a connection with him because there are some times in which I also do things without thinking of the consequences. Alex in a way connects with all teenagers because in some point of our youth we are full of anger and energy and we want to express in different ways, in this case Alex make it through using drugs, harming people stealing, etc. Every person makes bad choices and bad things in life, but also every person has the opportunity to change and be a better person every day in this case Alex didn’t do it he choice wrong but what can we say non of us is perfect. My favourite character is Alex. He is my favourite character because of the way he thinks. He does all the ultra-violence just for fun without caring about anyone. I also liked to see him evolve through out the novel. Seeing how he turns from a criminal to someone with good intentions at the end of the book was really nice. I think Alex never really wanted to change though, he was forced to and if he had the chance he would still be doing crimes. Akio Kihara
