The quote I chose is the following: "This is my end, he said to himself. As a bounty hunter. After the Baty's there wont be any more. Not after this, tonight." (Page 198)
I chose this quote because this is the critical moment in the story where the main character, Rick Deckard, has finally realized that after he finishes retiring (killing) the Baty's (a couple of androids) he wont be able to kill anymore because he now sees them as more, as not just some pieces of metal. This quote comes just after Rick spends the night, and has a romantic encounter, with another android called Rachael Rosen. He does not grasp this conclusion in a happy way though, since he now starts to fear for himself and his wife, since being a bounty hunter produced a huge income for both of them.

I choose to quote the last part of the book, the last sentence.
""Fine", Iran said. "I want it to work perfectly. My husband is devoted to it." She gave her address and hung up. And, feeling better, fixed herself at last a cup of black, hot coffee."
I choose this quote because even though the book had a lot of struggle and problems all throughout, at the end everything was fine and the characters managed to get out of the conflict. RickĀ“s wife was now happy and she understood that her husband was really important. Rick also realized that being a bounty hunter was not what he wanted and that made him change in a lot of ways towards his family and life and also towards androids.

I chose the following quote:
"You will be required to do wrong no matter where you go. It is the basic condition of life, to be required to violate your own identity." (Pg177)
I found this quote the most interesting quote in the book this quote is spoken by Mercer to Rick Deckard to go and complete the job of killing the Nexus-6 androids. In the novel Rick belief that he must quit killing androids. I think that this quote is important because during this time in the book Rick starts changing his mind towards androids. He reflects on androids life.
