First Quote:
"I shall choose my friends among men, but neither slaves nor masters. And I shall choose only such as please me, and them I shall love and respect, but neither command nor obey." (Rand 96).
This quote made me realize that friendship is also a consequence of individual freedom, and having freedom involves being respectful with your friends and learn how to treat people as a human being who are equal to you.
Second Quote:
"I am done with the monster of 'We', the word of serfdom, of plunder, of misery, falsehood and shame." (Rand 97).
This is an interesting quote because in a communism there has always been the worth "we" involved to refer to a regime of total control over people, and in most of the cases these rulers tend to lie or embellish the reality of the society the have created. "We" is a collective word that can have many meanings depending on the situation you are involved and in this case it's an evil word because is a word that enslave all the individual freedoms of human being.
Third Quote:
"She looked at me and the first words she spoke were:
'I love you.'" (Rand 98)
This quote is beautiful because Gaea is expressing her true love to Equality and this love is pure and trustful because they both had lived for years in a society that never tough them how to express or how to feel real love for each other. They both lived in a society without love and without individualism so expressing your individual love for some one else is very, very special and significant.

Quote #1: "The laws say that none among men may be alone, ever and at any time, for this is the great transgression and the root of all evil. But we have broken many laws." (Rand 17)
This quote says how this society is, without freedom and that many people who live in this society broke many rules because they can't do nothing and they are being forced to do things they don't want to do, they are being treated with pression.
Quot #2: "I have learned that my power of the sky was known to men long ago; they call it electricity. It was the power that moved their greatest inventions". (Rand 100)
This quote is important because the main character has discover the light bulb, but the way he discover is illegal. In this quote Equality 7-2521 is saying that technology and inventions are very important in a society, that's why when Equality 7-2521 is in the tunnel he dedicates to realize scientific inventions but in this society inventions were not accepeted. I think that in a society is very important to have inventions because then the society wil not be advanced.
Quote #3: "I am a man. This miracle of me is mine to own and keep, and mine to guard, and mine to use, and mine to kneel before! (Rand 95)
In this quote Equality 7-2521 demonstrates equality and to feel freedom in the society that he lives adn also how he valued him as a perwson.

Quote: “We are one…alone…and only…and we love you who are one…alone…and only” “…And we felt torn, torn for some word we could not find” (Rand 87)
For me, this was the most important quote and explanation in the whole book. The mystery for me in this book was to discover what the Unspeakable Word was. At the beginning, I was convinced that it was LOVE, for it is always the word that inspires many stories. However, this was the line in which I discovered that the word was “I”. After Gaea tells Prometheus that “we love you”(Rand 86) she realizes immediately that she doesn’t mean that. That a word is missing to give complete meaning to her feeling. However, when Prometheus states that that word made them feel torn for not finding it yet, I discovered that the word was I, and that is why I consider this quote the most important and revealing in the book. And after Prometheus reads the manuscripts and tells Gaea the meaning of this knew word I, the first phrase that Gaea express is “I love you” (Rand 98), showing that their quest had come to an end, and they find the word that gave real meaning to their lives.

Quote: "My dearest one, it is not proper for men to be without names. There was a time when each man had a name of his own to distinguish him from all other name." Page: 98.
This quote called my attention while reading because it is a way of saying that there was a time when man where free individuals and names are a way to show their personality or how they are different from others. It is also a very important part from the novel in which the main characters will stop being slaves and will show freedom by giving the Golden One the name of Gaea.
Quote: "To be free, a man must be free of his brothers. That is freedom. This and nothing else." Page: 101.
This quote reflects how the Utopian society in which Equality 7-2521 lived was only the slavery of men itself. In order for men to be free they should stop being manipulated by other men such as the Councils that controlled the city. This is the most important part of the novel because the main character finally is a free man and has reflected about it.

Quote: "And now you see the face of god, and i raise this god over the earth, this god whom men have sought since men came into being, this god who will grant them hoy and peace and pride. This god, this one word: "I"". (Rand 91.)
I found this quote very interesting because it is when Equality 7-2521 makes his biggest discovery and ends his journey. It is when he discovers the word "I" and realizes that individualism exists. Also, he says that some day he is going to go back and expand the world of individualism to all of those who want to understand the word "I". I think that this quote is very important because it is practically when Equality 7-2521 ends his journey and accomplish his mission.

Quote #1: "International 4-8818 and we are friends. This is an evil thing to say, for it is a transgression, the great Transgression of Preference, to love any among men better than the others, since we must love all men and all men are our friends." (Rand - 30)
Response #1: I consider this quote a proof to us of how they are slaved to the rules of their community and how they cant decide anything in their own lives.
Quote #2: "Take our brother Equality 7-2521 to the Palace of Corrective Detention. Lash them until they tell." (Rand - 64)
Response #2: This quote showed me how were they punished in the community. Thats why all brothers followed the rules very closely, otherwise they will be leashed and tortured in many other ways for the miss following of the community rules.
Quote #3: "Give no thought to us, for we are nothing but listen to our words, for we bring you a gift such as has never been brought to men. Listen to us, for we hold the future of mankind in our hands" (Rand - 70)
Response #3: With this quote I discovered how all brothers treated each other, and how they respected the council who had more power than any one in the community. Unfortunately the council rejected Equality´s 7-2521 invention and send them to be killed, Equality 7-2521 escaped and had to get away from its community and brothers.
Quote #4: "I owe nothing to my brothers, nor do I gather debts from them. I ask none to live for me, nor do I live for any others. I covet no man´s soul, nor is my soul theirs to covet." (Rand - 96)
Response #4: Here we can notice how Equality 7-2521 is already referring to himself as "I". And how he has new ideas about freedom and liberty. Also he tries to forget about his past in the community.
