In what setting(s) does Anthem take place? How do the characters respond to this/these setting(s)? What is your opinion of this/these setting(s) and why?

The setting of Anthem take place in a city that is built for Utopian purposes and works as a computer machine, as a perfect system full of programs and operations. In this setting the characters respond as little machines, as computer characters that don't preform any action until the council say to preform it and they are forced to accept their future with total conformation. This setting is oppressive and psychologically violent because people is forced to accept their life or is killed or punished if the complain or fight for their rights to decide.
The setting of the forest is a place full of peace and freedom where the characters can act individually and can decide weather to preform or not preform an action and they can manage their own future as they want. This place is peaceful and full of magic and reality.

The setting of Anthem has 2 places. The first setting is in a tunnel in which the main character hides there doing scientific experiments, the most important invension is the light bulb. This setting is violent because people are forced and can't have a calm life because when the main character creates this invention and shows to the scholars, he knows that electricity was illegal, so people can not life in a good way because they can not do many things.
The rest of the book takes place in a forest, were Equality-2521 is in a refuge that is calm and can decide whatever he wants to do.

The book Anthem has two settings. One of them is a controlled setting in which all is controlled including the decisions of the characters, but Equality 7-2521 has the strength to fight against this decisions and show individuality. The second setting is a place that is based on freedom. Characters can do what ever they want and take their own decisions. They are not forced and they can manage their own life with freedom.

Anthem takes place in two different settings that completely contrast with each other. The firs setting is a city were Councils have control over everything and there are strict laws established to maintain a perfect Utopian way of living among people. Equality 7-2521 responds to this setting by showing individuality and outstanding among his companions thanks to his intelligence. He breaks orders and refuses to confess his secrets, showing a rebel personality by not following the rules of the city. This is a place were human rights aren’t respected because people are forced to do certain things without any chances to decide their future.
The second setting of Anthem is the forest in which Equality 7-2521 and the Golden One live at the end of the story when they escape from the city. This is a calm place in which the main character is free and capable of doing whatever he wants with his life. From here, Equality 7-2521 works as an individual and elaborates many plans for the future to save humanity from the city where he escaped. The forest is a place full of harmony and stability for the characters to develop ideas freely and begin a new chapter in life.

Athem has 2 settings that are diferent in all ways. The first setting of the story that Equality 7-2521 is involved is really harsh. The city councils have power over everyone and can controll everything. Even thow this setting had strict laws, Equality 7-2521 discovers electricity and later to create the light bulb on the tunnel
The other setting of the story is a forest. Equality 7-2521 runs away from the city into the woods after refusing to destroy his lightbulb. The forest was a place where he was finally free and he could do what he wanted.

The setting of this book is in the future, we can tell this because in the introduction of the book it says that the future will be like that, and we can tell that it is in the future because world is working each time more as the book describes. This takes place in something like a small city, with no technology, where nothing is invented, and where all people live with rules, and no decisions of themselves. And then in the forest far away of this small city where they are free to think and do what they want.

The book Anthem takes place in two completely different settings. The fisrt one is the city, which is rule by a Council that controls every aspect inside it. The main character Equality 7-2521 struggle against the strict laws because he is the only one that has the intelligence to question them. That is why he has a rebel atittude, ends discovering electricity and finally leaving the city. The other setting of the book is the forest, where Equality 7-2521 arrived by leaving the city. In here he begin a new live with the Golden One, which is a women he felt in love, also he answers more of his questions about life by doing what he pleassed.
