By now, you're familiar with the major division of conflicts in literature (and, perhaps, in life)--internal and external. What conflicts do you observe in this novel? What predictions, if any, can you make about how these conflicts will develop or be resolved?

The conflicts in this novel are the prohibition of individuality in the community and the serious lack of progress in science, knowledge and technology in society. But the worst conflict or problem of this Utopian society is that people is not free to decide for themselves. People live in fear and slavery by a group of councils that act as the inquisition of the dark ages by not letting human beings to progress in life, act and think as individuals but as a collective group of machines.
It would be very difficult that these problems can be resolved but I predict that Equality 7-2521 would change his own fate and the fate of some of his brothers in the community by bringing individuality to their lives.

The conflicts in this novel Anthem were that individuality in other words was prohibited, and that nobody had the right to do what they pleased. People couldn't even invent what they wanted; they could only follow rules for not being punished. I predict that if Gaea and Prometheus didn't escaped and created light, they would never be able to go back and tell other people to go to the forest and live free with them

The main conflict of Anthem are the strict laws establish by the Council, basically the prohibition of individualism inside the city. People are treated as machines that cant do anything they want because they dont have the ability or intelligence to do so or are affraid to be punish.

One main conflict in this book that is very strong and very present is social espectation and social traditions. i mean that the social class are divided and treated depending on there religion ,color of skin or both. Also the stereotypical idea of the men being superior than the woman and the woman taking charge of the house or the children. I've also learned with the character of Moira is that these society is very homophobical and a main reason i suppose is because of there strong connection with the church
