By now, you're familiar with the major division of conflicts in literature (and, perhaps, in life)--internal and external. What conflicts do you observe in this novel? What predictions, if any, can you make about how these conflicts will develop or be resolved?

Brave New World is surrounded by a main conflict which is the new society that the leaders are creating and controlling. This comes to a debate after John was taken from the Savage reservation. John represents the old world order when individualism, feelings and spiritualism were important. He had very long discussion with Mond but he couldn’t agree with him. John ended up living in a lighthouse and self-punishing him. Finally he was so disappointed that he hung and committed suicide. In the novel, John is the good guy or protagonist while Mond is the antagonist. The new world has changed so much that it couldn’t be related to the old world that John defended. This means that the conflict will never be solved. The state will still control people to achieve their “social stability”.

the main conflict is the new life the new change the new society humans created. The main character tries to survive in a world that he don't belong to but is the only way to survive, getting used to it. Is difficult to understand how important your beliefs and way of thinking changes and how they stay even though is difficult to fight against this new society. The problem is something that has no solution and the only solution is not fighting but be pro this society. This change John has by being introduced in the Savage make him realizes how the world has change entirely.
